​Developing skills for

sustainable leather production

The SULEAP project aims to:

- To correct the identified lack of knowledge about the implementation of sustainability in the leather industry and to expand the knowledge of the target groups about the practical application with innovative educational tools and platforms,
- To raise the awareness of direct beneficiaries and target groups (professionals, staff and managers in leather-producing SMEs and policy makers), as well as indirect beneficiaries (associations, authorities, staff and managers from other related industries) about the risks and benefits of sustainability in leather production,
- To showcase emerging opportunities for the industry and support them in transforming the leather industry into a modern, resource efficient and competitive industry.
